The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our nation's oceans and beaches. This needed to be a site with impact that inspires change and calls people to action. So the main goals were getting people involved and getting donations.
To do this I highlighted the results and impact they have made with stats and short bold messages. I kept the design clean and straight-forward, including the sans-serif fonts. I also used engaging, action-oriented images and an inspiring video. I used blues and transparencies for the idea of clean water, cleaning up, and its strong association with health. Bold style and color are used to show progressive changes made and urge people to donate.
