Architex Fabrics Collaborations
REVEAL textile collaboration with Architex International and Vescom America. Showing concept to completion: my drawings and patterns. I was also involved in the colorway design and production with the interiors/product design team.
Inspiration stemmed from ideas about things in and around the water. Water purifies, renews, reflects, sustains, and reveals beauty. My influences here were drawn from Japanese design. Made to convey a style of flowing, ethereal qualities of water, I combined this with a “hand-done” or organic feel.
Interior design direction called for a diverse range of patterns-- from something smaller/more textural or quiet, to large graphic patterns, and something mid-scale. And to keep the style “soft.” Polyurethane Upholstery Design - printed in high detail on huge roller press on polyurethane upholstery, targeted for durability in the hospitality environment. The team created many color ways and variations to hone the perfect and on-trend color palettes.

This is another round of designs I developed with the interiors collaborations team at HDR for high performance textiles in the healthcare environment. These 2 collections were inspired by the tranquility of sea life and the world around us.
Woven from a specially designed polymer of 100% solution-dyed nylon. Solution-dyed nylon is strong, durable and inherently stain and bleach resistant, able to withstand heavy soiling, spills, stains, sunlight and chemicals. These benefits combined with the Nano-Tex with Durablock technology create a worry-free space for any high traffic or demanding environment. This collection is made in the USA with optimized manufacturing processes to reduce water and energy consumption. Solution dyed nylon is 100% recyclable.
